Mango Brulee

A delicious and lighter version of the traditional creme brulee. Easy to make.


Time to prepare: 20 mins

Serves: 4

Cook: very hot grill

  • 2 large mangoes
  • 2 tablespoons rum
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 350g Tims Dairy Greek style natural yogurt
  • 85g demerara sugar

Preheat the grill to high. Peel and dice the mangoes and place in the bottom of 4 deep ramekins. Drizzle the rum over the fruit and sprinkle with the cinnamon. Spoon in the yogurt and smooth it level then sprinkle the sugar over the top. Grill for 4-5 minutes until the sugar has turned golden brown. Serve hot or cold.

Variation - this works equally well with raspberries, strawberries, peaches or any soft fruit.
